AWESOME bag to carry warm food and cakes

My supertalented mom made this bag for us. You can put here containers of warm food that are awkward to carry in the Metro and elsewhere...
What a cool idea! it keeps the food warm and it doesnt burn you, and it's pretty! the fabric is from Thailand! Rutty frutti brought it after her travels around the world!  :O

love it! thank you mommy!

The Spanish Julia Child: Simone Ortega

Some of you have been asking me what is a traditional Spanish book, so here it is! Simone Ortega, 1080 recetas de cocina. This is the recipe that millions of Spanish women have followed. I got it for my birthday this year....I was glad to get it because Im always checking it out whenever I go to visit my grandfather. It is a good book from the 70s, but you'll pretty much find everything you need to know here about Spanish cuisine...this is indeed the spanish Julia Child kindof....Im unsure if it has been translated into other languages. Lighbulb! shall I translate it and change careers?? :)

my life in....?

OK, I know Ive been talking about Julie and Julia all the time....but if you like biographies and cooking read this! I missed my Metro station while I was reading it at 7:45am because I was so absorbed in it!
I think you'll love it. What an example to embrace life and enjoy what we have right where we are. In that sometimes we find our greatest passions and our lives.

thank you Stacy, totally loving it.
